Hot Grits: A Punk Rock Play on Music

Hot Grits was an original musical theater production about the rise of a fictional Seattle punk quartet of Black womyn. From the hand-drawn logo and designs for the stage backdrop for the show’s sold-out run to photography and video documentation, this project reflects the DIY resourcefulness and collaborative punk-rock spirit that fueled it.
